Lost in the rain, following a blue dot on a phone screen and a kind man headed to exactly the same place I was searching for walks with me and shows me the way.
Guinness, fish and chips, my best friend and her mum.
Thank you, kind sir. Duncan, from New Zealand.
Good things happen.
Terrible headache that kills…
In my desperation for hot miso soup, I stopped by Mi-Ne only to find out they don’t sell it for take away. Battled through my headache, went up my flat, took lunch boxes with me and went back into Mi-Ne to order the soup.
The staff probably saw the pain in my face as I ordered my staple salmon and eel sushi, and the miso soup.
Soon as food arrived I placed the sushi into a lunch box, then the miso soup into another. When I asked for the bill, they didn’t charge me the usual 10% for service. And they were rushing to give me a bag for my food, chopsticks, packed soy sauce and wasabi, which I all politely said “no thank you” to, since I desperately needed my bed.
*The sushi has been demolished, and I’m in bed, with my hot miso soup. The headache is going away, slowly…*
I will keep going back to Mi-Ne. The sushi is good, but the people who work there make the restaurant even better.
Good things happen. :D

Salmon!!!

Oh Salmon..and tea.

Mi-Ne Roasting Sea Eel
I just had a very cute moment with someone very cute on the MTR.
That smile was a sunbeam on this cold and dreary, very ordinary, rainy day.
Good things happen. :D
